Dr. Jacobs has been an advisor to and investor in technology funds and early-stage companies in a variety of sectors, including health/wellness, artificial intelligence/machine learning/computer vision/data analytics-driven applications, robotics/autonomous systems, sustainability, including water, energy and consumer packaging, cybersecurity, synthetic biology, genomics, neuroscience, microbiome, and biotech. She also served as Entrepreneur in Residence at the California Institute of Technology. Dr. Jacobs holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Stanford University, and was awarded her Doctor of Medicine degree by Harvard Medical School.
